Research Field

His research interests are in application of optimization theory to power systems, voltage stability, transient stability and dynamic security assessment, smart grids.

Education

Dr. Zheng YAN received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1984, and his MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 1987 and 1991, respectively.
